First Look at the HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low 'San Fransisco'
After and s Big Apple-themed was revealed yesterday, we now have a look at its counterpart: a San Fransisco-themed . Together, the two pairs tell the story of late HUF founder rise – first as a pro skater, then as a sneaker shop owner and finally as a brand owner – who grew up in NYC before moving to San Fransisco and opening the first HUF store.
The HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low 'San Fransisco' is decked out in white, black and grey, with a San Fransisco Giants-inspired 'Keith Forever' hit across its heel tabs to add some true Bay Area steez. San Fransisco's skyline also takes up residence across the lower part of the heel for a nod to the from 2004, and a special HUF logo with a metallic Swoosh is emblazoned on the top of the toebox. It's also worth noting that although the tongue's branding is SB (and features a San Fransisco text hit of its own) that the overall shape is much more reminiscent of a Sportswear than the variety produced by SB.
A release date for this touching tribute to Hufnagel and 20 years of his brand has yet to be announced (as does info for the 'NYC' pair), but we'll be sure to update you as soon as it is. You can also enjoy an in-hand look at the shoes right here – the third slide in the Instagram post above is a quick video.
