Here’s How People are Styling the Jarritos x Nike SB Dunk Low
It seems over the past few years, every time joins forces with a food or beverage company, they create a banger. Do you remember the x ? Releasing in 2020, the ice-cream-inspired pair took the sneakersphere by storm, shutting down skate stores and commanding high resale prices. The controversial design split opinions, making it a Dunk Low for the history books. Nike SB’s latest, while not as controversial, has also been heralded as one of the top shoes of 2023 (so far!). The Jarritos x Nike SB released early in May at select skate stores – the May 10 SNKRS wider release – experiencing plenty of fanfare.
Looking as tasty as a Mandarin-flavoured Jarritos, the upper was tear-away, and when the top canvas layer was shed, it revealed an orange base layer beneath. Elsewhere, a green Swoosh made way for the special Jarritos lateral heel branding and custom co-branded rear. This colab also featured multiple sets of laces and was promoted with Nike SB-branded Jarritos bottles.
