The JD Sports Highpoint Mega Store Opened With a Bang

weren’t lying when describing their fresh-faced Highpoint location as a mega store. On the eve of the store’s grand opening, the glowing 'JD' sign welcomed leagues of local devotees in for a sneak preview of the new digs, and pumping tunes and tasty treats kept revellers happy as they perused all that was on offer before opening day on December 5. The highlight of the new brick-and-mortar though was the Subaru WRX out the front, as it was kitted out in an -themed build and filled to the brim with mini Swoosh shoe boxes.

Flinging open the doors at 9am, a crowd descended on Highpoint to cop JD’s creme de la creme, including the ‘ and , plus . Even if they didn’t manage to secure a W, the trip was well worth it for the bevy of activations, activities and prizes on offer.

The shelves were also stocked to the brim with the product we know and love from JD Sports. and were all on show, but the specialties from the Swoosh were of course the and – the latter of which had its own sushi-style train in the front window. had a particularly crisp offering, with the all-new and plenty of coming in hot. were holding down the fort out the front with a cute display that featured the two core colourways and all-new pink iteration. Both and also had plenty of creps ready to be copped, and are still dominating in the running world, holding a special spot on the ‘King Of Trainers’ Window with models such as their Cloudmonster and Cloudvista 2.

On top of the footwear, JD Highpoint is also unmatched on the apparel front, hosting heavy hitters like , , Hoodrich tracksuits and Juicy sets. The new mega store is a one-stop-shop for sneakerheads, fashionistas and everything in between.
