JD Sports Welcome Pitt St Store to the Sydney Family

JD Sports expanded their kingdom this week, opening the doors to their Pitt St store in Sydney, and we were there to check out the brand-spanking double-story sneaker emporium.

Sneaker-loving Sydneysiders braved wild weather for a look at the Harbour City’s first JD flagship, where opening-night festivities welcomed the new store in style. With tunes by FlexMami and The Kid Laroi bringing the vibes, partygoers could suss the fit-out, peruse the stacked shelves, and try their hand at sneaker design in Customisation Cube.

A stack of hyped restocks had crowds forming well before doors opened to the public, but with Wotherspoons, OG , and PSG Jordan all on offer, the camp-out was well worth it. For those who didn’t brave the elements overnight, customisable Nike totes, JD x  speakers, and  tees sweetened the deal if you copped later in the day.

If you couldn’t make the opening, don’t worry. JD are keeping the good times rolling all weekend. They’ll be dropping the  ‘Salt’ at 8am on November 30, and will also be running the Customisation Cube all weekend, so head down to indulge your creative proclivities or pick up some new heat.
