Update December 18, 2023: General release of the 'Intro' and 'Outro' colourways is happening this week! The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance Made in USA 990v4 gets its wider release this Friday 22 December. You can cop your pair of the Belly-inspired kicks from newbalance.com.
Update December 11, 2023: A drop date is set! The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v4 '1998' collection is open for raffle now in all three colourways, with the draw closing on December 15th, retailing for $220.
The 'Intro' and 'Outro' colourways can be shipped across the US and select international countries while the 'Keisha Blue' colourway will be local to those in the Chicagoland area with pickup at Joe's 'Every Now & Then' retail space.

Update December 6, 2023: After dropping initial teasers just a few weeks ago, we're finally getting a first official look at two of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v4 colourways. Here, we can see both the 'Intro' and 'Outro' pairs, although we're still waiting for imagery of the 'Keisha Blue'. As it stands, the pairs are rumoured to touch down on December 22, although they could drop via JFG's own channels sooner. In the meantime, stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for all the latest.
Update December 3, 2023: Hype Williams has shared some close-ups of a gifted pair from Joe Fresh Goods of the 'Intro' Cream/Black colourway. In the shots, we get an up-and-close view of the '1998 Made in the U.S.A' logo, as well as a partial shot of the 'N' on the lateral. Williams's caption teases that perhaps he may have more than one colourway, so perhaps we'll get some more release information soon. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for more updates.
Update November 27, 2023: After a few teasers, Joe Freshgoods has unveiled his upcoming New Balance 990v4 collaboration in full. Dropping in three colourways and taking inspiration from the Hype Williams-directed film 'BELLY', the colourways take from the monochromatic and blue colour grading hues from the movie.
The 3 colourways are 'Intro' in Cream/Black, 'Keisha Blue' in Navy, and 'Outro' in Black/Cream. The sneakers all adorn '1998' on the heel which is seen in the font similar to the iconic movie poster as JFG branding is stamped on the lateral heel.

Teased on Instagram, not much is known about the sneaker but in true Joe fashion, expect storytelling to drive the sneaker. Seen in cream mesh and black suede on the upper, JFG branding replaces the 990v4 branding typically seen on the lateral heel. The reflective N logo contrasts against the black suede, with a black midsole and outsole finishing off the sneaker.
