The Jordan 6 Rings Winterised Model Is Returning
The original model incorporates elements from each shoe MJ wore during the championship series – the ultimate celebration of an incredible career. The Winterised model was a weather-proofed version of this model, designed to be worn on the trails as opposed to the court. While it proved to be rather divisive when it first released in 2010, are nonetheless bringing it back.
The 2010 release came in two classic colourways, ‘Triple Black’ and ‘Wheat’, and the 2023 re-release will stay true to these. The Winterised model features a ballistic mesh top half across the tongue and side with thick leather overlays across the bottom half and around the heel. To ensure it’s heavy duty, the midsole and outer sole are both made from an outdoor-ready rubber with traction. Both colourways keep the upper construction to one shade, but the ‘Wheat’ does have a pop of colour with red laces, Jumpman logo on the tongue, and small accent on the heel. The ‘Triple Black’ has these features in what looks to be the same ‘Wheat’ shade.
The Jordan 6 Rings Winterised in ‘Triple Black’ and ‘Wheat’ are both expected to land for the Holiday 2023 season, and it is uncertain whether the model will get more colourways. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for official updates.
