Here’s a Breakdown of Jordan Brand’s Fall 2023 Retro Collection

Jordan Brand’s Fall 2023

Every season, Jordan Brand present their gargantuan retro collection, and it’s always chock-a-block with epic new colourways of the models we know and love. As the Northern Hemisphere’s warmer months begin to come to a close, the Jumpman have unveiled their Fall 2023 plans. As to be expected, the Air Jordan 1 leads the charge with six new colourways across both the Low and High versions. As the second-oldest sibling, the AJ2 also receives plenty of love with five new colour combos. If you’re a fan of the AJ3 or AJ5, you can only expect single releases from each, but AJ4 fiends will be blessed with two colourways to choose from. Let’s get into it, here’s a breakdown of Jordan Brand’s Fall 2023 Retro Collection.

Kicking it off with the Air Jordan 1 High, Jordan Brand have doused their 1985 hooper in a ‘Palomino’ colourway, bolstered with black leather and crisp brown suede overlays. Next up is the ‘UNC Toe’, which conveniently already released on July 22 ahead of the official collection unveiling. There's also a women’s-exclusive iteration that has been inspired by handbags, ‘Praline’, and rumours allege a September 13 launch. For the High’s low-top counterpart, the anticipated ‘Atmosphere Grey’ has been unveiled ahead of it’s apparent September 8 launch. We’re also receiving another ‘UNC to Chicago’ colourway, and the ‘Black Toe’ is landing on August 4.

Onto the Air Jordan 2, a ‘Black Cement’ has been locked in to land on September 23, alongside a women’s-sized ‘Soft Pink’ slated to arrive toward the end of August. The AJ2 Low will see three combos, including the ‘University Blue’ in OG specs, a ‘Sky J Orange’ inspired by the iconic Chicago Jumpman skyline, and the ‘Varsity Royal’, which has been locked in to land on August 10. The Air Jordan 3 ‘Palomino’ has already been locked in to land this weekend, but its younger AJ4 sibling has been announced to arrive in two highly anticipated combos. Coming in the form of the ‘Red Cement’ and women’s ‘Frozen Moments’, both have generated massive amounts of hype and will arrive at select stockists across August and September.

Back in May, Nike announced they were planning on resurrecting the 2006 Air Jordan 5 ‘Burgundy’ for the first time. Fans who’ve been waiting for the retro will be happy to know pairs will be landing this Fall, kitted out in premium nubuck uppers. Skipping over the AJ6, Jordan Brand have already dropped the sought-after Air Jordan 7 ‘Chambray’ retro in select regions. For it’s 30th anniversary, Jordan Brand are bringing the ‘Playoffs’ Air Jordan 8 back, famously worn by Michael Jordan in the 1993 NBA Playoffs where he led the Bulls to their third straight championship.

Don’t sleep on the Air Jordan 12 colourways for Fall 2023, coming correct in a women’s ‘Brilliant Orange’ and eye-catching ‘Field Purple’. Rounding out the colossal collection is the Air Jordan 13 ‘Wolf Grey’, which will see a release via SNKRS on August 5.
