Even though there can be so much convenience afforded by shopping online, sometimes it just doesn’t hit the same as copping in retail stores. And that’s particularly true for sneakers, which you’re likely buying and ordering predominantly online.

According to Business of Fashion, Jordan Brand are looking to bring their focus back to bricks-and-mortar by opening their very first flagship store in Milan. Up until now, the majority of Jordan Brand products, from sneakers to apparel to accessories, have notoriously not ben available to buy in person, and when they are, they can be shopped at select stores, including Nike, as well as Nike’s webstore or the SNKRS app.

As per the news source, while this is not Jordan Brand’s first retail destination, as they do have stores in Dubai and Manila, this is the very first iteration of their new retail concept, ‘World of Flight’. Information on the store largely remains scarce, but Jordan Brand have confirmed that the store will be 360 square metres in size and is due to open on December 16. It will be located in the city’s Via Torino shopping hub.

Looking towards the bigger picture, Jordan Brand have stated that the store has been designed to be ‘at the forefront of streetwear and basketball culture.’
