Josh Kalis Celebrates 25 Years at DC Shoes

Josh Kalis has been a DC Shoes team rider for 25 years, and the longtime partners have decided to celebrate with a special capsule collection featuring a team jersey and resurrecting a fan-favourite silhouette. In the sneakersphere, the Kalis name has been adorned on a number of his signature shoes, such as the Kalis Lite and Kalis OG.

Now, the partnership has decided to resurrect Kalis’ second signature shoe, dubbed the Truth. Originally released in 2001, the Truth remains one of the brand’s most sought-after creations to this day. Despite debuting over twenty years ago, it boasts plenty of high-end skate tech, like a multi-layered upper, reinforced outsole and cushy air bags.

‘People loved the Truth,’ said Kalis in a press release. ‘It definitely meant a lot to me when it first came out, but seeing it get discovered all over again is just amazing.’

Dropping alongside the Truth sneaker is the Supertour Jersey, which keen-eyed skate fans would recognise as a remake of the jersey worn during DC’s 1998 Euro Supertour.
