Junya Watanabe and Oakley Link Up at Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week might be over, and if one thing’s for sure, 2023 is going to be an epic year in footwear. Many brands unveiled new creations and upcoming collaborations – many of which will hopefully see releases sometime this year. Among those brands is Junya Watanabe, who showed their collection at the tail end of the week.

Putting an emphasis on collaboration, the Japanese label showed that they’ve been busy with a number of streetwear brands, including Palace,  The North Face, and Carhartt. In addition, they also linked up with New Balance to deliver Junya-collaborated pairs of the 1906 and 650. And there’s more footwear where that came from! Also spotted on the runway was another brand they’ve teamed up with, that brand being Oakley. A trio of models were seen on the runway, including blacked-out pairs of the Flesh and Flesh Sandal, as well as what looks like a refresh on the Bobbie slip-on.
