Ye Enlists Zellerfeld to Create 3D-Printed Boot for YZY SZN 9
While Ye has stepped away from corporate partners in favour of going it alone, there’s one group he did collaborate with for the latest collection: 3D-printing experts, . Already having worked with streetwear and luxury brands and for YZY, they created a pair of boots that were not only functional but comfortable. As expected, there is no adidas insignia to be seen anywhere on the boots.
Creating boots with Zellerfeld meant that YZY was able to bypass traditional manufacturing and supply chains, allowing them to create the pairs in just one weekend, as opposed to weeks, months or years. In this case, the YZY boots were created in just one single weekend. Price points and availability for the pairs are yet to be addressed.
