Kim Jones Unveils His Nike Air Max 95 Collaboration

After a first look at the actual shoes, Kim Jones has officially revealed his much-talked-about Nike Air Max 95 collaborative project. In the best look we’ve seen to date, the Dior and Fendi designer has shared a sneak peek at both the ‘Total Orange’ and ‘Volt’ colourways of the re-imagined 95s.

As the names suggest, both colourways feature distinctive high-vis accents, which brilliantly decorate the modified eyestays and the familiar Air Max bubbles in the sole. Above, Jones dresses the uppers in a classic grey tone, adding subtly contrasting black detailing in the form of small Swoosh logos and intricate line work on the modified side panels. For branding, Kim Jones’ name features towards the rear, while the Air Max logo arrives on the tongue in a matching palette. Down below, there’s the standard full-length white sole unit, which houses the aforementioned Air unit.

While these joints won’t likely garner the same affection as the from earlier this year, we still expect plenty of furore come release time.

Currently, release details on the Kim Jones x Nike Air Max 95 collection are still up in the air. However, the designer has suggested that they are ‘coming soon’. We expect a drop sometime in the first half of 2021. More details to come!
