is an unstoppable force in the sneakersphere, engaging in collaborative projects with a wide array of brands. They had a gargantuan year in 2021, tapping , and for multiple linkups on a range of silhouettes and even opened an opulent Paris location, for those who like to cop kicks in luxury. Despite expanding their collaborative catalogue, the Kith x relationship remains unrivalled, with Fieg doing his best work with the Boston-based brand. And they’ve just revealed their latest via the summer 2022 look book. Four different silhouettes have been included, there's a , , 990v4 and 990v1, referencing fan-favourite colourways from the past.
The highlight of the duo is the NB990v3 which pays homage to the 2013 ‘Daytona’ colourway, first seen on the Kith x NB1600 in 2013 and inspired by the Florida city, Daytona Beach. The full blue suede base has been translated over, engulfing most of the toe box alongside contrasting white mid-foot panel, brown heel and popping pink accents. Second in the collection is the 990v2 which takes cues from the ‘Cyclades’ colourway seen doused on the 2016 Kith x NB997.5. Bright hues cover the whole upper and was originally inspired by a trip Fieg took to Mykonos. The 990v2 incorporates all the same colour-blocking details, boasting an orange toe, tan midsection and light blue heel. The NB990v4 references the legendary three-way Kith x nonnative x New Balance 997 collaboration, utilising tonal grey and pink accents.
No release details are available for the Kith collaborative NB990v3 ‘Daytona’, NB990v2 ‘Cyclades’, NB990v4 'nonnative' or NB990v1 but we suspect they’ll arrive over the coming month.
