Knicks-Themed Dunk Joins the NBA x Nike 75th Anniversary Celebrations
There’s been plenty of news flying around about the upcoming x 75th anniversary celebrations, and now an image has emerged of a New York Knicks–inspired colourway that’s expected to join the pack. This leaked image, courtesy of , joins previously circulated sneak peeks of the and colourways, with sneakerheads now wondering if any other NBA franchises will feature in the collection.
This rendition starts with a black and white base before adding hits of orange, blue and grey. You’ll also notice the same calling cards from the other versions we’ve seen so far, namely the ‘75th anniversary’ tongue tags with the iconic Jerry West silhouette from the NBA logo, and diamond-etched lace dubraes – because 75 years is traditionally the diamond anniversary.
Despite now falling into the casual category, the Dunk’s on-court credentials can’t be questioned, after starting its life as a genuine baller back in the 1980s.
An official announcement about the NBA x Nike Dunk Low EMB ‘75th Anniversary’ collection is yet to be made, but pairs are expected to release later this year, possibly in October. Stay tuned for updates.
