Kylie Jenner Shares Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low 2022 Sample

Socialite Kylie Jenner took to her Instagram Stories overnight to tease some snaps of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 collaboration designed by her similarly famous partner, Travis Scott.

This AJ1 Low recalls the brown desertcore tones of TS’ sneaker colabs, and the white and tan combo can almost be considered an inversion of his previous AJ1 efforts. The reverse Swoosh that’s associated most closely with Scott (but not invented by the rapper) returns on the lateral side, while the medial displays the logo in its usual orientation. Off-white tumbled leather borders the main upper panels, with the toe box and sides filled in by chocolate powder brown nubuck. And, as shown here, there will be tonal off-white laces and contrast red as two options. Other Travis touches include the Cactus Jack caricature on the heel tab, plus the namesake written on the medial panels.

Given this is still a sample (check the inside of the ankle lining), there still could be some tweaks before the colab finally releases. Another telling sign of this drop is the pictured pair being a kid’s size – presumably for Jenner and Scott’s daughter, Stormi – meaning this colab will likely be a family affair with wide size availability.
