Update (March 31, 2022): When the Kyrie Irving x Nike Dunk Low was first revealed, it was a bit of a rough stretch for the mercurial Irving, as he was banned from playing in Nets home games. Now, however, he's been cleared to play in home contests – and official images of his Dunk Low have been revealed. 2022 has been a topsy-turvy year for superstar Brooklyn Nets point guard . He's not allowed to play in Nets home games due to his vaccination status and his team is scrapping for a spot in the Playoffs' play-in schedule. However, there are brighter days ahead for Irving, his team and his footwear. Irving's teammate recently stated that he thinks the Nets' championship window will be open for several more seasons, and Irving himself, who said last year that he is dropping a Dunk Low that was just revealed by sneaker leaker .
Though Irving played his college hoops at Duke, his low-cut takes on the tones of archrival UNC, combining white and powder blue tones on its forefoot and midfoot. It's injected with a dose of patterned pale yellow towards the heel, and gets a second shot of flair via crimson Kyrie branding on the tongue plus a red hit on the heel tab. A final jab of style is provided by the salmon outsole, which sits under a white midsole with powder blue contrast stitching.
