Kyrie Irving's Sneaker Room Colab Raises $80k for Charity

Jersey City Medical Center is $80,000 better off thanks to the efforts of and Sneaker Room CEO Suraj Kaufman.

Irving and Kaufman collaborated on two special edition versions of the , dubbed 'I Love You Mom', at the end of 2017 with fundraising in mind. United by the shared misfortune of having lost their mothers to cancer, the duo created the two-shoe collaboration as a way to help other mothers with cancer in their hometown of Jersey.

A total of 300 pairs were created: 250 red versions priced at $200 and 50 gold versions priced at $1000. Kaufman is currently working with the foundation to establish an initiative to use the funds to support mothers at the hospital.
