La Gear - Museum Recap

Thanks to Club Zonder Filter (a slammin' duo of ladies making it big on the streets of Amsterdam) LA Gear saw a nice revival in 2008, bringing back memories of hair scrunchies, mullets and tight stone washed jeans. The Fireball Stardust saw Freakettes all over the globe rip their skids for a pair, even turning most onto eBay in search of original LA Gear and apparel. We take it one step further and revisit the LA based brand with some crispy catalogue images courtesy of our Sneaker Freaker Museum. If it's good enough for Michael Jackson to rep, it's exceptionally fresh enough for our museum. From tennis silhouettes to casual fashion cuts, LA Gear brought rays of Cali heat to the worldwide streets without missing a beat.
