Leak: Three Supreme x Nike Shoe Ride 2 Colourways
In the lead up to their latest release, and have been dominating sneaker headlines. Following word of a brand new ‘Brazil’ colourway, sneaker sleuth py_rates has let slip that the legendary New York skate brand will be reworking the Nike Shox Ride 2.
According to the source, three colourways have been allegedly set to hit shelves in 2022, one in White/Grey Fog/FLT Platinum another in Neutral Olive/Electric Green/Pilgrim and Speed Red/Siren/Barn. The Shox Ride 2 is an early-2000s Shox silhouette that rocks an ultra-chunky build and Air units in the forefoot area.
We aren’t surprised that Supreme had a dig through Nike’s archive for their next colab, they're known for choosing slightly obscure models and reworking them using their own eclectic spin. The source also provided us with potential mockups of what to expect. If these are correct, then each shoe should possess a grey mesh underlay with tonal coloured overlays. The final touch will be the Supreme branding on the lateral.
The leaked news about the Supreme x Nike Shox Ride 2s are just rumours at this point, we have no concrete information from either brand. If they release, then they’ll retail for $190 and touch down in the Northern Spring of 2022.
