Liverpool Fans Will Never Walk Alone, Thanks to this Air Huarache

You'll never walk alone if you're a Liverpool FC supporter – that's quite literally what the club's fight song says. Now, Liverpool die-hards can put that message to foot thanks to the club's new collaborative sneaker with Nike: a special take on the Air Huarache.

Dressed in the club's red and white colours with plenty of checkerboard-patterned details, splashes of black and just a dash of yellow, the Liverpool FC Air Huarache's key details arrive via removable Velcro straps on its tongue badges and heel cages alike. The latter comes standard with a Nike embellishment but can be swapped out for one that reads 'YNWA' (short for 'you'll never walk alone'), which, as mentioned above is a key piece of the club's fight song. A small LFC crest on the insole rounds off the look, and the shoes reportedly come packaged in a custom box.

Liverpool has now been part of team Nike for almost two years after terminating their seven-year relationship with former kit manufacturer New Balance. Though New Balance offered a higher yearly fee to the club to produce their kits, Nike won the Reds over by promising them a 20 per cent cut of global merchandise sales on products like this Air Huarache.

A release date for the Liverpool x Nike Air Huarache has yet to be announced, but will likely surface in the coming weeks.
