LORENZ.OG Applies ‘Patented Colourschemes’ to Official Salomon ACS+ Colab
Lorenzo Federici, aka LORENZ.OG, has carved a niche name for himself with his ‘Patented Colourschemes’ customs. Using a secret dyeing technique that he developed to create vibrant gradients, first on sneakers before venturing further into apparel, the young creative’s work has now been officially recognised by , who have lined up a partnership that has spawned a limited edition collection.
The footwear featured in this pack is the freshly revived ACS+, an archival trail model from the turn of the last century. Federici has personally dyed (as he does for all of his creations) a handful of pairs in his distinct ‘DUSK’ colourway, which sees violet purple fading into peachy pink on the upper’s plastic hardware. Furthermore, the gradient very subtly runs from heel to toe on the upper, expressed by the subtle changes in each panel’s upper. The midsoles have also been dipped to darken towards the upper edge, with some minute runs confirming the human touch on this project.
The LORENZ.OG x Salomon ACS+ can be seen at a special Salomon event on April 19 and 20 in Paris. Early previews also suggest that some matching apparel has been created for the collection, but it’s unclear at this stage whether that will be for sale.
