First revealed earlier in the month, the Maison Château Rouge x Air Jordan 2 garnered acclaim for its luxurious details that seem to nod to both hand-made craftsmanship and dress footwear, special insoles and earthy colour palette. The shoe's cream base is accented by hits of brown, orange and yellow, with special details including brogue-like trim, patterned overlays, tongues with hand-stitched detailing and co-branded heel tabs/tongue tags. However, the embellishment that seems to have garnered the shoe the most attention so far is its insole, which features a duo of highly-detailed illustrations centred around . The first of these shows Jordan surrounded by a 'United Youth International' crest, while the other shows him soaring through the air for the famed cradle reverse dunk he in the 1985 Slam Dunk Contest! Interestingly (and accurately), MJ is wearing the in the second illustration!
