It's been teased, speculated and leaked since at least this March, but the Maison Château Rouge x Air Jordan 2 is finally dropping soon, and ahead of its arrival official product images have appeared. A simply coloured yet highly detailed sneaker, this unique Air Jordan 2 is the latest piece of the Jumpman's extensive plans for Michael Jordan's second signature model, following colabs with Off-White, Union and A Ma Maniére.

Tone is simple – the cream base is embellished with hits of orange, yellow and brown – but texture is undeniably complex, with everything from brogue-inspired forefoot details to unique stitching on the tongue and midfoot nodding to MCR's home base of France and their African roots. The most striking details are hidden, however, with co-branded heel tabs and custom inner tongue tags giving way to full-colour printed insoles that show a portrait of Michael Jordan (left foot) and a drawing of him skying to the hoop for a jam in the 1985 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, gold chain and all. This custom detailing is continued on the shoe's box and tissue paper.
