After revealing that he’ll be dropping both ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ versions of the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low, Marcus Jordan has shared a look at some unreleased Trophy Room x Jordan samples. The samples were revealed on Complex’s ‘Full Size Run’ finale, and come in the form of an Air Jordan 1 and two Air Jordan 7s.

To kick things off, Marcus Jordan shared a metallic blue Air Jordan 1 sample – the first version of the ‘Freeze Out’ Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1. While the final product ended up using the ‘Chicago’ colour scheme, the original pair made reference to the belief that Michael Jordan was ‘frozen out’ of the 1985 NBA All-Star Game by his teammates.

Following on from the AJ1, Marcus also introduced two Air Jordan 7 ‘New Sheriff in Town’ samples. The first was a Friends and Family version that references a Dream Team scrimmage from the summer of ‘92. The pair pays homage to the moment where the proverbial torch was passed, as Michael Jordan told Magic Johnson and Larry Bird that there was a new sheriff in town. This pair features navy uppers and red, white and gold details, referencing the ‘Olympic’ Air Jordan 7 worn during the Barcelona Olympics.

The second pair saw Marcus Jordan depart from the usual Air Jordan 7 construction altogether, instead opting to make a bootie version with a sock-line inner. However, it was said that Michael Jordan himself wasn’t too fond of the result and that the change stopped the sneakers from feeling like a retro.
