Jordan’s 1993 Finals Game-Worn Air Jordan 8s Are Up For Auction at Sotheby's
While we mere mortals are battling with rising retail prices, we can only dream of grabbing a pair of game-worn Jays, but for those able to splash the cash this is one of the best opportunities to do so in a long time. Not just any game-worn pair, but a pair of Jordan’s 1993 NBA Finals have arrived at , and they’re expected to reach up to $400K.
Forming part of Sotheby’s ‘Genesis’ auction alongside a signed pair of , the pair in question have been photo-matched to the pair worn in Games 4 and 5 of the 1998 Finals, when the Bulls faced the Pheonix Suns. Jordan reportedly wore the pair for one half in both games, putting on a record-breaking performance in Game 4 specifically as he scored 55 points, leading the Bulls to victory with a 111-105 win and a 3-1 series lead. As far as the pair’s condition goes, expect them to show the appropriate amount of wear and tear!
