MJ becomes the first athlete to make the list at 379 with a net worth of $3 billion according to Forbes. After selling his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets for $3 billion earlier this year, Jordan made 17 times what the team was worth when he purchased it in 2010.
The royalty checks continue to roll in as well and according to Forbes, he’s taking home an estimated $260 million over the past year from the percentage of all Jordan Brand sales.
