The Air Jordan 1 High Golf ‘Pebble Beach’ Celebrates Michelle Wie West
It’s been an epic year for releases, not just in terms of GRs but collaborations and signature pairs too. These span across various brands, with leading athletes like Breanna Stewart having celebrated her first signature silhouette, the , as well as Sabrina Ionescu who is gearing up to release her signature with Nike.
The next sports collaboration has arrived, this time on the golf front. Pro golfer Michelle Wie West has teamed up with the Swoosh to create the ‘Pebble Beach’. Wie West has a number of record-breaking accolades to her name, including being the youngest player to qualify for the USGA amateur championship at the age of 10, winning the US Women’s Amateur Public Links at 13 years old and qualifying for her spot on the LPGA tour at 14.
To celebrate her decorated career and Korean–Hawaiian heritage, the collaborative AJ1 High Golf ‘Pebble Beach’ is loaded with plenty of embellishment: the embroidered Swooshes have been reworked to resemble a wave-like pattern, the laces are washed in a gradient pink, there's specialised branding striking the tongue tabs, and the insoles have a floral pattern. Last but not least are the icy outsoles reading ‘Aloha’.
The initial release for the Michelle Wie West x Air Jordan 1 High Golf ‘Pebble Beach’ has already sold out. But keep it locked for updates.
