The Reebok Pump Omni Zone 2 was made famous by Dee Brown, who pumped up his shoes as he went on to win the 1991 NBA Dunk Contest. Dropping in two colourways, one with white leather and bright blue accents and a grey suede and dandelion accents, MSCHF do what they do best and bring a decisive take to the sneaker.
While the OG had the Pump mechanism placed on the tongue, MSCHF have placed basketball Pump bladders throughout the upper, from the midfoot of the tongue to all over the lateral side of the sneaker. MSCHF and Pump branding are split between the Pump bladders, with Reebok branding seen on the lateral heel. While it’s still unknown if all the Pump bladders work, Reebok’s Hexalite cushioning is expected to bring impact protection in the midsole to finish off the sneaker.
No release date is known yet for the MSCHF x Reebok Pump Omni Zone 2, but keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker as we await release details.
