A Clean White/Gum Mix Joins the New Balane 2002R 'Protection Pack'
After making its debut as one of 2021's biggest , popular 'Protection Pack' series is set to expand vastly in 2022. One of the styles that we'll be seeing is a crisp white and gum pair, a clean contrast to the pre-dirtied white and gum 2002R that was seen back in March
Revealed by sneaker leaker and sample collector , this new take on the 2002R boasts a full cream upper with a textile base and shaggy, jagged suede overlays that give the impression they've been ripped apart. The colour scheme is decidedly monochromatic in the manner of last year's 'Rain Cloud' colourway, but the layering, sharp edges and wide array of details use that simplicity to shine! Moving to the lower half, midsoles are done up in cream as well and the N-ERGY gel cushioning units seen at the heel are uncoloured as well to aid the monochromatic look. A signature gum outsole serves up a finishing touch of detail.
With all the 2002R 'Protection Pack' colourways New Balance has hitting shelves this year, we're still awaiting official word on a release date. However, this new makeup will likely drop in the coming months with an MSRP of $150.
