At Least Nine More New Balance 2002Rs Are On The Way!

New images have emerged of previously unseen New Balance 2002R colourways which are expected to land later this year, if not in coming weeks. The model is very quickly saturating the market, so it’s a better time than ever to pick up a pair.

These 2002Rs also have the distinction of referencing some OG NB palettes from the back catalogue. For example, the white and navy pair almost seems like a nod to the 624 Dad Shoe, but it’s also a classic combo for the brand. There’s also a grey leather and navy mix that definitely resembles the 1600 and 1700.

It isn’t just plain offerings for the 2002R either; some vibrant editions are coming as well, including hot pink, forest green, and an interesting tan and navy combo. There’s also some navy nubuck and brown suede options that again seemingly recall some heritage colours. Failing that, a simple black with aged yellow midsoles will likely have mass appeal.

According to Fullress, these 2002Rs are part of the NB SS22 range, so expect to see them within the next few months. However, there’s also the possibility that these options will only be a Japan-only play before hitting international doors later.
