Yue Wu Debuts New Balance 610 Adorned in Luxurious Cow Print

Update November 14, 2023: A release date has emerged for the latest New Balance 610 colourway not long after it was revealed by designer Yue Wu. Pairs of this cow-hair-adorned trail-esque silhouette will land via the NB webstore in select regions on November 17.

Yue Wu is the New Balance designer responsible for the successful New Balance 2002R ‘Refined Future’ pack (often mistakenly referred to as the ‘Protection Pack’), which garnered big lines outside of Extra Butter in New York for all three releases. Wu has now shown off a New Balance 610 iteration on his Instagram that’s dressed and ready for a rodeo, and well-dressed at that.

The 610 starts with a warm beige base with black cow print adorning it. Luxurious suede overlays in the same beige then takeover, with hits of brown coming in on the side and the heel. The mesh tongues add more texture, along with a midsole constructed of black tread that’s ready to hit the fields. The branding is subtle, with the N blending in among the suede, and the 610 coming in what looks like white and orange text on a black cow spot.
