New Balance Combine the 991 and 1500 to Create the 1591
have decided to go full Freaky Friday on us by combining two of their most revered models to create a brand spanking new Made in UK silhouette. The Boston-based brand has taken the upper of the fan-favourite and the sole of the to create this new model called the New Balance 1591. The hybrid silhouette uses a broad range of materials across the upper.
Crafted at New Balance’s factory in Flimby, UK, the base has been kitted out in a grey mesh, with maroon, brown and yellow pigskin and nubuck blended with navy and purple leather. But that’s not all, as part of their Selected Edition Series, 74 per cent of the upper has been created using surplus stock! The NB1591 has also been decked out with ABZORB performance sole tech to ensure a supportive ride.
Sadly, a release date hasn’t been announced as of yet, but we’re sure an arrival is imminent. They’ll retail for $220.
