New Black and Grey Nike Air Fear of God 1 Colourway Spotted
Nothing escapes the gaze of the eagle-eyed sneakerhead community. Keen observers of the from x will have spotted a new colourway of the . It’s understandable if they slipped the gaze of anyone not blessed with 20:20 vision, so hopefully this zoomed-in crop makes things a bit clearer.
Yes, they do look strikingly similar to the from almost two years ago. However, this version substitutes in light grey on the midsole and upper lace structure, while the rest of the design is shrouded in black. This creates a fairly pared down and sleek silhouette, despite the ankle-hugging high cut and somewhat extraneous lace and heel zip closure system. Other elements that reveal the FOG’s archival inspiration include the wraparound heel unit, which is a nod to the Air Max 180 from the early 1990s, and a certified Nike classic. Expect oversized shoe boxes (trust us, it’s big) and plenty of complementary packaging – assuming this colourway does release, which is likely. The chances of the colourway seeing retail is much, much lower.
Stay tuned for imminent release details and news of availability. If it’s anything like the colourways that have released so far, it’ll be a hard-fought W.
