New ‘Mono Pack’ adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 to Release with Updated Uppers
The is set to receive a cosmetic makeover as it enters its fifth year of production, according to the Yeezy Mafia. Codenamed the ‘Mono Pack’, this foursome of 350 V2s will differ from all releases before it, thanks to an all-new upper design.
Ever since the ‘Beluga’ released way back in 2016 (and the original 350 the year before), the model has used Primeknit uppers rendered in multiple variations and patterns. The updated version sees slightly translucent mesh used in place up top, revealing a sinewy lace structure underneath. Staying on the laces, there appear to be external eyelets sewn or bonded into the mesh, as opposed to the integrated type used with the OG Primeknit version.
Elsewhere, it appears to be business as usual. The midfoot window typically offers a contrasting colour or complementary accent but, given the name of this pack, these four editions opt for the latter. Speaking of the colourways, they’re reportedly known as ‘Mono Mist’, ‘Mono Cinder’, ‘Mono Clay’, and ‘Mono Ice’.
This all is, of course, based on the mockups above and generally reliable intel from the Yeezy Mafia. It will be a matter of time before release confirmation and official imagery is revealed. Stay tuned for more.
