From viral DIY upcycler to becoming a leader in the area of conscientious creating, has now teamed up with to create a trio of mules that are designed to have you equipped on the daily. Of course, they aren’t just any old mules that pander to the anti-sneaker trend. They allow for resourcefulness when you most need it.
Drawing upon her signature style of repurposing and upcycling materials, McLaughlin has reimagined the Diemme Maggiore in three colourways (olive, khaki and blue), perfect for everyday wear. To create the shoes, leftover materials from Diemme’s factories were sourced to craft the uppers, which are removable, allowing you to zip them together to create a small, detachable handbag. Once the uppers have been removed, a black base is revealed. And whether you’re hitting the trails or the pavement, it’s no matter, as underneath, you’ll find support from Vibram soles.
