Nigel Sylvester Teases New Air Jordan 1

After releasing his own oil-stained Air Jordan 1s in 2018, BMX high-flyer Nigel Sylvester inked a deal with the Jordan Brand in 2020, making the Queens native the first ever BMXer to link up with the Jumpman.

It’s been quite some time between drinks for Sylvester, but the 35-year-old rider teased a new black pair this week alongside the launch of his new book, Nigel Sylvester: GO.

The latest colourway revisits the key aesthetic themes of its predecessor, featuring black leather uppers with scuffed white Swooshes. A mini Swoosh again returns to the lateral portion of the mudguard. Down below, the sole unit again opts for a faux-aged component with yellowed hues. Red outsoles complete the design.

Unfortunately, this pair is said to be a gift from the Jordan Brand to celebrate Sylvester’s book launch. However, there’s still a chance we could see a retail drop, so keep it locked to SF for updates.
