Update January 9, 2023: After what feels like a long wait, the Nike ACG 2024 is finally available to buy in the ‘Ash Green/Varsity Red’ colourway in certain parts of the globe. Update November 29, 2023: Well ahead of the release for the Nike ACG Air Exploraid, Nike have unveiled official imagery of the 'Light Orewood Brown' colourway. Peruse the shots below and expect a drop in March 2024.

While in the 2020s these retro relics aren’t the most tech-savvy trail sneaks, All-Conditions-Gear heads have been enjoying the recent influx of bring-backs. Now, fresh off the the recently-unveiled , which has been slated to arrive for Holiday 2023, comes the potential first look at the 2024 Nike ACG Air Exploraid.
Rumours that the Air Exploraid had been pulled from the Beaverton vault began back in July, with reputable sources stating that pairs will land in 2024. After months of radio silence, a first look has arrived of two colourways that are set to touch down in the OG ‘Ash Green/Varsity Red’ and modernised ‘Light Orewood Brown’. Originally releasing in 1999 (OG pair pictured above), the Nike ACG Air Exploraid retro (pictured below) looks to keep its OG swag, with netted midsole, neoprene bootie and mix of leather, mesh and nubuck.
The Air Exploraid is allegedly set to debut in the ‘Ash Green/Varsity Red’ colourway in February next year, with the ‘Light Orewood Brown’ in March. Nike ACG are yet to confirm this silhouette is in the works for next year, so stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
