Nike’s ACG Watercat+ ‘University Gold’ is Dropping Soon

Update June 29, 2023: Following the release of official imagery, Nike have confirmed that their latest ACG Watercat+ will land on July 12.
A model originally introduced in 2006, the + did exactly what the name suggested. Featuring a woven construction for water drainage, the ultra-breathable model was another intrepid design from Nike’s ACG (All-Conditions Gear) brains trust, a sub-label once again seeing a resurgence in the 2020s.
Flexing their leg muscles with the growing popularity of the GORP-core movement worldwide, Nike ACG are now rolling out fresh colourways of the cult favourite Watercat+, the upcoming ‘University Gold’ iteration perfect for summer stroll (or more strenuous endeavours).
Composed of ‘Yellow’, ‘University Gold’, and ‘Black’, the Watercat+ comes equipped with woven, bungee-like cord patterns replacing the OG ribbons with leather panels. In terms of branding, classic ACG branding appears on the midsoles, heel tabs and outsoles.
