Releasing Soon! Cole Bennett’s Lyrical Lemonade x Nike Air Force 1

Update September 28, 2022: Lyrical Lemonade has announced that their Nike Air Force 1 will release on September 29 at 5 pm CST via their site!

Cole Bennett, the mastermind behind some of music’s most memorable music videos in the internet age via his Lyrical Lemonade label, has revealed an upcoming Nike Air Force 1 collaboration. This effort follows 2020’s Jordan Aerospace 720, but unlike that colourful rendition, this upcoming pair is much more subdued.

These AF-1s interpret the citrus theme of the Lyrical Lemonade brand and select a particularly juicy shade of yellow to light up the Swoosh. Beyond that, it’s a stock standard white leather pair from top to bottom. Completing the colab is the Lyrical Lemonade logo embroidered into the lateral heel counter, and a graphic is also printed on the insoles.

While the shoes are relatively minimalist, Bennett and Nike have gone all out for the packaging. As seen in the unboxing video below, the box is not the standard fare but a bright blue carton. Printed on the lid is a large Lyrical Lemonade logo – complete with lemon wedge. The label reads ‘Nike By Lyrical Lemonade’ in the style of Nike By You pairs.

In his Instagram post, Bennett confirms ‘yes these are real’ and asks ‘who wants a pair?’, all but confirming that these are not just a one-off and that a release may be on the horizon.
