The Nike Air Force 1 High 'Columbia Blue' Is Comin' Back
from the 1990s and early-mid 2000s are the stuff of sneaker culture legend, and one of the (likely many) classic pairs are set to bring back to celebrate the AF-1's 40th anniversary in 2022 is the 'Columbia Blue.' Debuting in the early aughts, the 'Columbia Blue' sits somewhere between a pair you'd expect to see on the feet of and a pair that would be right at home in Nelly's , and now it's back in all its original glory, with a few small changes for good measure.
Uppers are composed of crisp white leather, with the signature UNC-like 'Columbia Blue' shade present on the Swoosh, heel tab, tongue tag, proprioceptus belt – 'collar strap' if you'd prefer the simple term – and collar trim. Down below, the blue hue gets another go-around on the midsole's Air branding and the outsole. The midsole provides the key difference between this pair and the original release: it features a slightly-yellowed tint for a nod to its classic nature. Bright silver lace deubres complete the offering.
Expect the Nike Air Force 1 High 'Columbia Blue' to hit the Nike webstore and select Swoosh stockists later this year. If it's priced in line with its counterparts, it should retail for $115.
