Nike Debut a Blue Big-Bubbled Air Max 1 ’86
It’s Big Bubble season, baby! recent resurrection of their triple OG for 2023 is one for the history books – especially their detailed reworks that enlarge the Air unit to better replicate the 1986 version. Originally, the world thought that the was the only colourway Team Swoosh would release, but it did seem highly unlikely a full re-tooling would take place for just one drop.
Sure enough, began to surface, showing a plethora of unseen combos, and it was that Nike actually created four exclusive versions of their AM1 ’86. Limited to 1986 pairs, they were all given to vendors of the Black Market Flea. Now, official imagery is circling the interweb that showcases GR colourways like the and the fresh new ‘Light Armoury Blue’.
Keeping to the OG colour-blocking strategy, the suede mudguard and Swoosh boast the highlight deep blue tone. Elsewhere, lighter hues reach the midfoot and rear panelling alongside a white midsole, blue outsole and translucent Air unit. Rounding out this pair is the subtle ‘Medium Soft Pink’ insole.
