This Nike Air Max 1 Pays Homage to the OG Air Force 1 High

Air Max Day is fast approaching, and Nike has spared no expense on the celebration, from debuting the brand-spanking-new Air Max Pulse to resurrecting the mythical ‘Big Bubble’. They’ve also double-downed on the Air Max 1 output, crafting weirdly wonderful colourways and blessing old favourites with a retro. Next up for Team Swoosh is the AM1 ‘Timeless’, which pays homage to the OG Air Force 1 High designed by Bruce Kilgore in 1982.

The construction of this Air Max 1 is similar to its count-Air-part, with a mostly-white leather base layer, vintage-style mesh, toe and lateral perforations and OG Nike Air branding. Down below, the midsole has been yellowed to exude an aged vibe, while the upper also rocks a fabric strap.

There’s been no release date as of yet, but expect the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Timeless’ to arrive at select retailers over the coming weeks.
