The Nike Air Max 1 Gets Rich with 'Baroque Brown'

The Nike Air Max 1 is an enduring model in the sneakersphere, and the Swoosh are now pairing it with an equally enduring colour: brown. The two together create a classic and extremely wearable iteration of AM1s perfect for winter/fall ‘fits.

The ‘Baroque Brown’ AM1 adopts the usual colour blocking scheme, with a crisp white base, midsole, sock liner, tongue and laces. A creamy transition colour is used on the top half of the smooth overlays, before the rich chocolate brown comes in along the base overlays, Swoosh, tongue branding and eyelet. The overlays are of course constructed in a plush suede, giving it that warm contrast to the mesh. Rounding out the design is a black and brown outsole and brown Nike branding on the heel.

The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Baroque Brown’ doesn’t have a release date yet, but it is expected to land sometime at the beginning of this year, just in time for the tail-end of winter in some parts of the world and fall for other parts. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates on the drop.
