Nike Air Max 90 GORE-TEX Line Gets Classic ‘Scream Green’ Colourway
Earlier this year, weather-proofed the ‘Infrared’ with technology, and the Swoosh are now adding to their winter-ready makeover of the silhouette with another OG colourway. Tinker Hatfield’s classic design has been given a ‘Scream Green’ makeover, lighting up the shape with a light neon hue. The radiant accents of this colourway are a playful contrast to the sombre dark tint of the pair's expected cold season release date.
The Air Max 90 has been a favourite for 33 years and counting, and this version borrows its green tone from the 's 1991 debut palette. The pair sports the model’s signature white mesh and leather construction complete with the hallmark grey tones and jet-black mudguard. The GORE-TEX water-repellent upper delivers resistance perfect for the winter months, with the colourway’s titular accents decorating the Air Max bubble, cassette, heel tab, midsole, and splashes of the outsole.
The Nike Air Max 90 GORE-TEX ‘Scream Green’ will apparently release in Winter, but it doesn’t currently have any fixed release date. However, it is listed at $160 retail, so at least Air Max 90 heads know what to budget for, if not when. For further updates, stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for more info on when and where to cop.
