This Nike Air Max 95 Is Perfect for ‘Greedy’ Sneakerheads
The ‘Greedy’ concept finds itself on the yet again, seemingly to the point that everybody has lost count of how many times it’s been done. However, this mixed colourway execution tends to work fairly well on the model, especially when it features multiple OG shades on the one pair of shoes.
Previous ‘Greedy’ renditions have invariably used both asymmetric and balanced colour placements. The latest version opts for hue harmony with its mirrored look, which maintains the original ‘greydient’ used on the AM95’s debut edition while mixing up the eyelet colours. The lateral side sees ‘Dark Beetroot’ loops, and the medial displays ‘Slate Blue’ – both recent colourways added to the model’s catalogue. These accents also comprise the tongue’s embroidered ‘Air Max’ branding, all before leaving some room for ‘Neon’ trimming on the Swoosh in a nod to the OG colourway.
On the period-correct front, the microfibre and mesh upper is retained, while the shades of grey strewn across are mixed up to not be a carbon copy of the 1995 original. The midsoles and Air units are left stark white.
The Air Max 95 ‘Greedy’ 2023 edition should be arriving in the coming months at Nike retailers.
