This Nike Air Max 95 Offers Less Colour But More Swooshes
The is perhaps best known for its dazzling colour combinations and penchant for neon accents, but sometimes it works with less. That’s not to say this upcoming edition is devoid of detail – it’s still a stark white sneaker. However, a closer look reveals some intriguing elements that are atypical of the AM95.
This is mostly via the multiple Swooshes on show; the original configuration of the AM95 is actually quite light on Nike’s iconic logo, which only really shows up on the lateral ankle as a small stitch. Here, the Swoosh count is multiplied by five as they occupy the rear of each upper layer to form a column of logos, each in different colours.
The two lowermost Swooshes are blue, which is reflected inside the heel Air units surrounded by a dark navy midsole and matching outsole. While the forefoot units are neon green, perhaps a nod to the OG AM95 colourway, and the detail is replicated on the upper lace loops and outsole ‘spine’. And aside from the tongue’s Air Max logo, the remainder of the shoe is all white.
Keep an eye out for these intriguing Air Max 95s to land at Nike retailers in coming months.
