The Nike Air Max 97 ‘Volt’ Is Inspired by an Iconic Air Max 95 Colourway

One of the all-time greats from Nike’s prodigious Air Max catalogue, the Air Max 97 continues to be a popular choice for sneakerheads in 2023. Recently reappearing in its iconic ‘Silver Bullet’ colourway, the Air Max line has always been beloved for its OG colour palettes. The latest in-house AM97 iteration takes notes from an infamous colourway its older sibling’s known for – the Air Max 95 ‘Neon’.

The model features ‘Neon/Volt’ contrasting accents and a mix of leather, mesh and 3M reflective detailing. Whilst not a direct blow-by-blow remake of the OG ‘Volt’, the colourway nevertheless adopts much of what made the original iconic while adding new elements like violet hues.
