Nike Air Max Day Overkill Countdown (Am 93)

As we approach the final hours in the build up to tomorrow's Nike  Overkill drop, the sixth instalment of their AM countdown. This time Berlin's well-known vintage collector and friend of Overkill, Modie tells us his Story.

For me personally, this is one of the best Air Max silhouettes of all times. My heart leapt into my throat after Nike re-issued the Air Max 93. A must-have for every lover and collector. The coloured, all-around Air Bag is absolutely amazing on these beauties. Unfortunately from 2005 onwards, the air bag was slimmed down, taking away a little bit of the shoe's character.

I hope that Nike will give this fantastic silhouette more consideration and re-issue it in OG colorways with the old Air Bag. For me it would be a dream come true! My first 93 Max has still got a special place in my collection, and to this day, he conjures a smile out of me overtime I'm holding him in my hands.
