The Nike Air Max Dn is Dropping For Air Max Day 2024

Even though Nike continue to face criticism for their lack of innovation this year, the brand are still continuing to drop brand-new models for Air Max Day. After the Air Max Pulse hit the ground running earlier this year, 2024 will see the Air Max Dn join the family.

According to Nike, the Air Max Dn simply marks the start of ‘the first wave of many upcoming Nike Air innovations’. Blending together elements of both old and new, the silhouette’s most defining feature comes from its heel cushioning set-up, which boasts four large round Nike Air-filled pods for unrivalled cushioning.

As for its uppers, the Air Max Dn looks to be built from a woven fabric, which comes topped with textured detailing that follows the contours of the silhouette. The model’s midfoot shank is also a stand-out detail. This particular colourway sees the shank arrive in a purple-toned gradient, and a similar finish has been applied to the heel counters, too. Eagle-eyed Swoosh fans will also have noticed that the Air Max Dn’s logos look very similar to those seen on the Air Max Plus, which leads us to believe that ‘Dn’ stands for ‘Dynamic Air’, or something similar.

As previously mentioned, the Nike Air Max Dn will be dropping as part of Nike’s Air May Day celebrations, so don’t expect it to touch down any earlier than March. When it does, there will be plenty more colourways to choose from, too – rumour has it the Beaverton brand has several planned for the year. In the meantime, keep it locked for all the latest.
