‘Multi-Colour’ Makes Its Way to the Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer
new is a fusion-style silhouette that slaps a upper on top of an midsole to interesting effect: the combination of a trim top half and a wider bottom half is a sight to see! Now, the Swoosh have taken the fusion a step further, tapping the beloved myriad of Flyknit Racer makeups to lend their signature cotton candy shades after repurposing the Flyknit Racer 'Oreo' earlier in the month.
As a result, the top half offers a familiar swirling blend of pink, blue, yellow and green, though the standard Flyknit construction is reinforced for lifestyle wear with leather eyestays and a sturdy heel clip. There's also a redesigned tongue tag for posterity. Midsoles are much more simple by comparison, done up in black and white and showcasing the Air Max Pre-Day's signature exposed Air unit at their back half. Sustainable NikeGrind rubber outsoles round off the look.
Currently, this Frankesteined Flyknit Racer/Pre-Day is without a release date, but it's likely to turn up on the digital and physical shelves of Swoosh stockists in the coming weeks.
